Frequently asked questions

Answers about getting started, updating your menu and using QR codes.

What is Menu-in?

Menu-in helps restaurants, cafés and coffee shops create and manage an online menu. You can share it through a link or QR code.

Who can use Menu-in?

Restaurants, cafés and venues that want to present their products in a digital menu can use it. Explore live menus on the Examples page.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests can scan the QR code or open the menu link in their phone browser. An internet connection is required.

Can I start for free?

The Pricing page shows the available free plan and its features. Create an account to start within that plan’s category, item and scan limits.

Where can I find subscription prices?

Compare monthly and yearly options on the Pricing page. Each plan card shows its price, limits and included features.

How do free plan limits work?

The free plan has category, item and monthly scan limits. Check the Pricing page for current limits and choose another plan if you need more capacity.

Can I change my plan?

Review available plans in your dashboard subscription section. Check the displayed period, amount and terms before confirming a change.

How should I prepare menu images?

Choose clear images that match the products. Follow the format and size requirements shown in the upload field, keep file sizes reasonable and check the live menu on a phone afterwards.

Can I get help entering my menu?

Some plans list menu entry as an included feature. Check your plan and contact support through the contact page to discuss menu preparation.

Where can I see customer orders?

If ordering is included in your plan and enabled for your restaurant, incoming orders appear in the dashboard Orders section. Review table, takeaway and delivery settings separately.

Are online payments enabled automatically?

No. Payment availability depends on your plan and configured payment services. Check your account settings and contact support if needed before using online payments.

Does the QR code change when I update the menu?

If the menu URL stays the same, item and price updates do not require a new QR code. If you change the menu link, check the destination of previously printed codes.

Can I use multiple menu languages?

Choose menu languages and a default language in the restaurant form. Selecting languages does not translate the text automatically; complete and review category and item translations too.
